Cornerstone Camp is excited to kick off our sponsorship campaign, and we are seeking your support to expand our mission of providing an affordable summer camp to at-risk children. For this campaign to be successful, we depend on receiving sponsorships and donations from the community. Since 2010, we have grown and impacted the lives of ~300 children with the support of the New Jerusalem Church of God In Christ, our volunteers, and the community. To expand our reach even further, we need your support.

Cornerstone Camp (formerly New Jerusalem Summer Camp) is a six-week summer camp serving approximately 40 children from the tri-county area. Campers range between ages 6 and 12 and have various academic and social needs. Cornerstone features a fun-filled program where campers participate in daily devotion and different educational and social activities. Educational activities include daily academic enrichment and interventions in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and STEM, all taught by certified teachers. Additionally, the program focuses on exposing young people to daily inspirational messages, three weekly field trips, character education lessons, and swimming lessons. Cornerstone Camp is staffed with professionals with varying experience levels, from certified teachers to church volunteers and high school students.

Our camp provides children with a community of caring adults to nurture their development, impacting their values, self-esteem, and leadership. Since its inception, we’ve seen inspiring success stories from our campers and volunteers. Seeing our children grow and develop into successful young adults has been such a rewarding experience. We invite you to join us in serving more children in the community and contributing to more successful outcomes.

Please show your support by completing the enclosed sponsorship form and indicating your sponsorship and/or donation level. There are various sponsorship levels, from $250 to $1,000+. We also accept other monetary donations via mail and electronically on our website.
