Meet Dajshia Williams
“Serving as a camp counselor was a very rewarding experience, as it enhanced my passion and love for children. Not only did I learn how to be an effective leader during my time as a counselor, but I also learned how to develop those leadership skills into a positive light that would best impact others. I intend to incorporate those acquired leadership skills with my colleagues on my unit, as I strive to provide quality patient care and make a positive impact within the lives of my patients and their families.”

“As a counselor, it gave me the platform and opportunity to be a leader at a young age, which translated well with my career today as a United States Army Lieutenant.”
Meet Miciah Beck
“As a summer camp counselor I had many opportunities to deal with many situations as it relates to inner-city youth. The experience prepared me for my career as an educator. It's rewarding and I would not change a thing in the journey as a camp counselor.”
meet Adam Michael womble
“As a counselor, I discovered a million different ways to entertain, and a million more new rules to Uno. I also had the opportunity to help educators to teach and encourage those a few years younger than me to understand the importance of education and learning. Being able to allow the kids experiences and my own experiences in life impact each other, broadened my perception of the world around me. It was an educational and exciting experience for me and I hope to have made it one for the kids as well.”
Meet Malachi Beck
“Being a summer camp counselor allowed me the opportunity to work closely with inner-city children. This opportunity intensified my curiosity to go forward with working with inner- city children, so I continued my out-reach by becoming involved with other summer camps across America. After finishing my undergraduate degree in Biology from Southern Wesleyan University with the honors of Magna Cum Laude, I am now furthering my education at Salas school of optometry in Pennsylvania in the pursuit of being an optometrist.”
