Cornerstone SteAm Summer Camp

Cornerstone Camp advocates STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and exposes children to these fields' endless possibilities and opportunities. Introducing children to STEAM early has been linked to positive literacy and language development outcomes. It increases a child’s motivation to learn and discover new interests while expanding their skills and knowledge. 

Activities during summer camp vary daily. Three field trips are taken weekly, generally on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Campers will not have an altered schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Campers will board a camp-provided bus for all field trips. Tuesday is movie day; students will visit a local movie theater to enjoy a free showing of a G-rated film. Thursdays and Fridays will consist of campers participating in various field trips in and around the tri-county area.

Cornerstone Camp offers the following activities for children:

• Daily Devotion

• Academic enrichment (e.g., ELA, STEAM, etc.)

• Field trips

• Character education sessions

• Crafts

• Martial arts

• Robotics

• Dance
